Since the  time of Chernobyl explosion, our wooden materials are regularly submitted to random controls about radio-activity  contents.

Controls are done by a specific detector of beta and gamma radiations.  No over-dose of radioactivity has ever been detected  exceeding the normal ground-limits.
A segregation-plan was however implemented to store material whenever radio-active at controls.

It seems sure that starting next 01 Jan. 2010 all Epal pallets on continental scale  will have to be obligatory treated upo ISPM-15 FAO standards. Therefore it is progress the enlargement of the kiln-drying plant to encrease the capacity from 2.200 up to 4.000 pallets.

A new Client for painted pallets was acquired.

It is the CPR System scarl of Gallo (Fr) shared -among others- by Coop and Conad.  Subject of the supply was a quantity of more than 220 thousends pallets green painted,  whose building was ruled by very strict parameters imposed  by the Client self : absolute repetitivity of colour dosage and spreading, total respect of  the  low  dimensional and weight  allowances, moisture contetn lower than 18% before loading.

Firstly, iI was bought a near area of approx. 3000 sm.  It was then floored with concrete and partially covered with an open building to host the new plant for the sawing of long-packets timber. This plant has a real capacity of 200 m3/day  and is also equipped with an automatic pallettizer. The goal was to become totally auto-sufficient   to produce by our-selves extra-standard  timber for  extra-standard pallets at lower prices than those commonly current on the market of finished materials.

As result of an almost unanimous votation of collegues, our Chief  was elected President of Pallets Manufacturers-Group  in Assoimballaggi.

This new rule  -that  surely adds    importance to our company- was  assigned him not only for his well known and long time managing capacity  in this branch,  but also for his capacity to run a  strong activity  for the group while  planning works and goals to achieve.
