During the current October month we completed the purchasing of a new area near the street SR148.

The expansions that we have taken place in recent months will allow us to improve the storage capacity of raw materials and pallets to meet the strong demand of Customers.

Currently, the production area extends over a surface of 135.000 sqm and represents the maximun extension achivied today.

New industrial buildings are planned for the next future.

One to produce pallets (about 5500 sqm), a second to protect pallets from the rain (about 4000 sqm), another to reuse waste timber.

All industrial buildings will be covered using photovoltaic panels to allow Sacchi Pallets the energy independence.

The results of EcoVadis CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) rating of Sacchi Pallets have been published. EcoVadis is one of the most important international eco-sustainability rating platforms.

Sacchi Pallets has been awarded with a Silver Medal. A good result!

In the latest issue of the Legno 4.0 magazine, the company is the protagonist of an article (edited by Luca De Nardo) which illustrates the innovative operation of the 2 in 1 kiln, conceived in collaboration with BIGonDRY, which allows you to simultaneously carry out both the ISPM 15 heat treatment and the drying of the pallets. This new technology has made it possible to optimize and above all make the pallets treatment process more sustainable, avoiding double passages in the kilns which led to significant waste of resources.

The kiln, installed in September 2021, inaugurated a new investment plan focused on enhancing processes and production capabilities which includes: the installation of automatic board loaders on the Sodeme Line, the replacement and extension of the current roof with a new one made of laminated wood, the installation of a new and larger silo and will culminate in 2025 with the installation of a new nailing line.

LAST DAYS WE FINISHED THE INSTALLATION OF:

1)      A NEW NAILING LINE, FULLY AUTOMATIC,  MAINLY DEPUTED TO THE PRODUCTION OF EXTRA-STANDARD PALLETS IN SMALL LOTS.

IT IS A LINE IN REPLACEMENT OF AN OLD ONE, ABLE TO DOUBLE THE PAST PRODUCTIONS PER SHIFT AND ABOVE ALL TO ASSURE THE RESPONDANCE OF  PALLETS TO THE HIGH QUALITY STANDARDS REQUIRED BY CUSTOMERS IN THE CURE OF COMPONENTS ALIGNMENT, IN THE PERFECTION OF NAILING, AND THE FINISMENT OF MARKINGS OF THE PALLETS IN OUTPUT.

2)      A ROBOTS SYSTEM  FOR THE CHARGE OF THE TOP-COMPONENTS OF THE PALLETS.

LAST APRIL  WE BOUGHT A NEW AREA CLOSE TO THE NORTH SIDE OF THE PLANT OF FURTHER 23.000 SM.

THE WIDENING OF YARDS WAS NECESSARY TO MEET THE GROWING NEED OF STOCKING AREAS OF RAW MATERIAL AND READY PRODUCTS.

BY THIS LAST ANNEXION THE WHOLE COMPANY AREA HAS GROWN UP TO 120.000 SM.
